Dr. Babak Azizzadeh is a Harvard-trained Facial Plastic Surgeon who specializes exclusively in the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, eyes and nose. He is the Director of The Center for Facial and Nasal Plastic Surgery and board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. His expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery has made him one of the most sought-after surgeons in the country. He has been featured in The Oprah Winfrey Show,  People Magazine, The New York Times, Discovery Health, Los Angeles Times and numerous other media for his expertise in facial plastic surgery.

After graduating from the UCLA School of Medicine with highest honors, Dr. Azizzadeh completed a six-year residency program in Head and Neck Surgery / Facial Plastic Surgery at UCLA Medical Center. He then completed a sub-specialized fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Harvard Medical School.

For the past two decades, Dr. Azizzadeh has been actively engaged in clinical and basic science research helping to advance the field of facial plastic surgery. He has received many honors and awards for his accomplishments. Dr. Azizzadeh has authored several pre-eminent plastic surgery textbooks including Master Techniques in Facial Rejuvenation, Master Techniques in Rhinoplasty as well as the upcoming book entitled Master Techniques in Blepharoplasty.   He is also the best-selling author of Beverly Hills Beauty Secrets, a consumer guide to facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Azizzadeh has continued to be at the forefront of facial plastic surgery as he is the Co-Director of the USC School of Medicine’s Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship program and the Co-Director of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Advances in Multi-specialty Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery symposium.  As an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA, Dr. Azizzadeh is also actively involved in teaching facial plastic surgery to residents and medical students.

In addition to his busy surgical practice, Dr. Azizzadeh has also been actively involved in several humanitarian organizations and is the founder and President of Facial Paralysis & Bell’s Palsy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting research and pro-bono surgery for children afflicted with facial movement disorders. He also travels routinely with Global Smile Foundation and Medical Missions for Children to third-world countries to treat children with cleft lip and nose deformities. Dr. Azizzadeh is also a member of the Reconstructive Surgery Team of the ROSE Fund, a national non-profit organization committed to ending violence against women and children.
