Multilevel Fat Grafting, also known as MFG, is a newer non-invasive restorative technique for facial rejuvenation that has been introduced by Dr. Babak Azizzadeh. Multilevel fat grafting (MFG) allows the correction of deficiencies in facial volume to provide you with a more youthful appearance. Fat grafting is typically an outpatient procedure that can be done under local anesthesia.   Live fat cells are harvested from lower part of your body via customized cannulas in a gentle manner in order to avoid traumatizing the cells. The fat cells are processed, refined and injected above, below and into the 30 main facial muscles of the face with the use of 10 specific cannulae (FAMI method developed by Dr. Roger Amar). As a result live fat cells are transplanted to the face in areas of hollows and volume loss. MFG allows Dr. Azizzadeh to significantly improve the contours of your face allowing a more youthful and vibrant appearance. Many times Dr. Azizzadeh utilizes multilevel fat grafting in conjunction with face lifting, blepharoplasty and browlifts to optimize your overall results.
