The medical training of Dr. Babak Azizzadeh of Faceliftnet.com

When we consider what our patients and prospective patients are looking for from their facial plastic surgeon it’s really a matter of reassurance. Trusting your face to another person is huge step to take, and whether you’ve had multiple surgeries, or this is your very first, you’ll still want to know that you’re trusting it to the right person.

For that reason we’d like to tell you more about Dr. Babak Azizzadeh...

Dr. Babak Azizzadeh began his medical career as a student at the David Geffen school of medicine, UCLA. While UCLA’s medical school may be just 50 years old, a lot has been achieved in those 50 years, not least a number of notable medical discoveries.

Following his graduation (with highest honors), Dr. Babak Azizzadeh stayed at UCLA, completing a six year residency at their Head and Neck Surgery/Facial Plastic Surgery center. This, as you can imagine, was the perfect training for any doctor wishing to work in facial reconstruction and plastic surgery, but Dr. Azizzadeh would continue his study just about as far east of Los Angeles as can be achieved within the US. At the time, Harvard University were offering just one highly esteemed fellowship at their Medical School. It was offered to Dr. Azizzadeh who accepted and earned his sub specialized fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the US’ most highly ranked research medical school.

After his extensive training, spanning well over twelve years, Dr. Azizzadeh founded “The Center for Facial and Nasal Plastic Surgery” in Beverly Hills focusing on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. His expertise has led him to gain unique experience in third world countries (helping children with congenital cranio-facial defects, i.e. defects of the lip, palate and nose deformities) as well as set up his own institutes to help those suffering with Bell’s Palsy and facial paralysis (see the Facial Paralysis Institute’s Official website).

Please feel free to browse through this blog to find entries by Dr. Azizzadeh himself, and get a better idea of who he is as a person as well as the training that he’s had. Of course, if you are a patient then you will have consultations with Dr. Azizzadeh before your treatment starts, so there’s no need to feel like you’ll be treated by an unknown entity. If you have any questions regarding Dr. Azizzadeh’s experience and training, please leave a comment or get in touch via our contact page.
